The Giant Machinist’s Tool Chest is a customizable take on a classic design. It has 10 drawers and a large top compartment for tons of storage, and is based on a plywood skeleton with your choice of finishes and drawer construction to really make it your own. It also is a fun opportunity to play with scale if you don’t quite have the space for a piece of this magnitude. This is an intermediate project.

• (Optional) CNC for skeleton parts

• Table Saw with crosscut sled or miter gauge

• Box joint jig

• Drill/Driver

• Router with flush trim bit

• Flush trim saw

• Orbital sander
